Brief Introduction of the Office

Revenue Audit Directorate is one of the seventeen (17) audit directorates under the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh. This audit directorate is responsible for carrying out audit of all government offices belonging to Internal Resources Division (IRD) of Ministry of Finance. This directorate, along with its three Concurrent Audit Teams in Dhaka, Chattogram and Benapole, is particularly assigned to audit all revenue offices. The objective of this directorate is to conduct audit of Govt. Revenue offices for establishing transparency and accountability in collection of revenues.
